About This Spot

Broadway Pizza sits quietly on the corner of 49 Broadway in the charming village of Tivoli, welcoming locals and visitors alike with a sense of ease and simplicity. Walking in, you’ll notice the modest, no-fuss setting where the pace slows just enough to appreciate a comfortable pause in the day. It’s a small, unpretentious spot where the hum of quick, friendly service blends effortlessly with the warmth of the staff’s genuine smiles.

The atmosphere here feels like a familiar neighborhood gathering place—one where the aroma of freshly baked thin-crust pizza draws you in, promising a satisfying, honest meal without any pretense. Whether you’re dropping by after a day spent near the nearby lake or looking for a reliable, quick slice to brighten a busy afternoon, Broadway Pizza invites a relaxed, almost nostalgic rhythm. It’s the kind of spot where you can comfortably grab a pie to take home or sit for a simple, heartfelt lunch.

The charm of Broadway Pizza seems rooted in its heartfelt approach to traditional flavors served with care. There’s a subtle joyful discovery in tasting ingredients layered with a touch of creativity—like that unexpected but delightful mix of toppings that give each slice a story of its own. The kitchen’s pace is brisk but unhurried, reflecting the balance between satisfying a steady flow of guests and maintaining a sense of warmth behind the counter.

What makes Broadway Pizza linger in memory is less about the menu itself and more about the human moments around it. The friendly exchanges with staff who treat you more like a neighbor than a customer, the way regulars settle into a comforting routine, and the the gentle buzz of a place that quietly holds its place in the community. This is not a flash-in-the-pan; it’s a modest gem where authenticity in simple pleasure takes center stage.

We are from Pittsburgh and were camping in the area, and after a long day of travel, we were looking for some NY pizza and this place did not disappoint! Very tiny shop, folks were very nice and made us two delicious pies! We tried the cheese pizza and “the works”, both were great! i’ve never had meatballs on a pizza and I was pleasantly surprised! A+!

I just discovered this Gem. Food is great. Small and more simple items. Perfect for a lunch at home. Take out. Employees are very welcoming, personable, helpful. It’s one of my new favorite places. I do have to say i was a little disappointed that they dont have balsamic dressing or glaze. HOWEVER< THE ITALIAN dressing makes up for it. It was so good i wanted more and more salad. The Greek salad is very flavorful with every bite. AWSOME PLACE TO EAT

Ordered the sausage slice and it had pieces of sausage in the crust too. Garlic knots were very good. Delicious!

As a REAL New York City native (unlike 99% of the reviewers), I can tell you hat Broadway is more like an old school NYC slice shop than you would think. From the flavor to the quality to the service...do they make mistakes? Sure. Everyone does. Is their pizza great? Yes it is. So are their dishes. Until recently I had only been a weekender for 40 years. I've been eating here since they opened. It has always been consistent and delicious! The staff are super friendly as are the owners who work on-site every day. The inside is sparse, and no, I don't care what newspaper is on the table (NY Post) or what's on the TV (usually a show like NCIS or Smallville). You don't come here for the media...YOU COME FOR THE FOOD!!!
